If You Could Change Anyone

Leo Tolstoy

Accept who you are and make the needed adjustments to speed you on your way!

The kind old woman asked me, “If you could change anyone in the world, who would you change?” I sat in silence and looked at her, contemplating the depth of her question. “I would and can only change me. Is that right” I asked. She said “That is right child. The world changes because we are the singular catalyst to it’s change. Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves. Powerful change starts with us”

Spirits of the Other Kingdom and Pride

You know about the devils kingdom and all the spirits. Pride is the biggest and most dangerous spirit and many of us have that spirit niggling us constantly. Therefore we are always bowing up and can’t humble to hear anyone.

The other thing to know is that when people allow this pride spirit to manifest so strongly, they are injured and use pride as a shield to protect against seeing fault with oneself. People may feel so horrible about themselves, but will never admit it because to them that means more failure.

James 4:6 God resists us when we’re in pride. Do we want God resisting us?

It’s important to understand how Jesus see’s us and replace the lies we believe with the Truth. When we are growing and healing it’s necessary to look at our behaviors, our motives and our attitudes with complete honesty. This is where many who fall into the category I just talked about stumble and fall. Looking at the wrongness in us is not trying to find fault but attempting to correct what is broken. Let me give you a word picture. We are on a boat and the boat springs a leak. If we ignore this leak, we will sink. We must look at it, even in spite of our fear and make the necessary amends to fix that hole! To see the hole doesn’t mean the boat is a bad boat, it just means it’s broke and needs fixing. We usually don’t throw out our car when it has engine trouble do we? No we don’t. So it’s important to have that same mentality when it comes to ourselves. “I must get this car fixed so I can drive it places. I’ve got people to see, work to accomplish and things to do”. Amen and amen, it’s the same with us. Let’s not drive us around in a broken state.
